Tarento TRON Hackathon 2025 Kicks Off: 32 Teams, 112 Innovators, and 6 Themes of Agentic AI Excellence

The excitement at Tarento reached new heights as the four-week TRON Agentic AI Hackathon officially began on 13th December 2025. Designed to spark creativity, accelerate problem-solving, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI, this year’s hackathon has brought together 32 teams and 112 participants from across the organization.

What makes this edition special is its focus on agentic AI, systems capable of autonomously planning, reasoning, and acting. Participants will be exploring its potential across six high-impact themes:

• HR & Finance Automation
• Software Development & DevOps
• Enterprise & Integration
• Customer Support / CX
• Sales & Delivery
• Personal & Productivity Strategy

Each theme represents a real-world challenge area where AI can create meaningful transformation, enabling faster decisions, smarter workflows, and more adaptive digital experiences.

Day 1 set the perfect tone for the innovation sprint ahead.

Jinesh Sumedhan, SVP – Innovation & Initiatives, kicked off the event with a compelling walkthrough of the hackathon’s structure, objectives, and expectations. His keynote emphasized experimentation, curiosity, and the importance of challenging existing norms.

We were also joined by Vijay SP, Managing Director, who spoke to participants about Tarento’s commitment to innovation and the role initiatives like the TRON Hackathon play in shaping the company’s future.

The NXT team and HR team were the driving force behind this initiative, meticulously planning and setting up the experience to ensure seamless coordination and smooth execution throughout Day 1.

The energy in the room was palpable, teams brainstorming, laptops firing up, and ideas quickly turning into plans. And with four weeks ahead, this is just the beginning.

What’s Next?

Over the next four weeks, teams will design, build, test, and refine their agentic AI solutions, culminating in the grand finale on 10th January 2026.
